Salacina?
The name Salacina comes from the latin name for the humble Santa Rosa plum, which grows well in many Bay Area backyards, Prunus salicina. In the early 1960s, the previous owner of my house planted a Santa Rosa plum in the backyard. Now, every year, it provides a bountiful harvest that we share with our neighbors, friends, and the local wildlife, including the squirrels. It is a joyful reminder of the previous owner.
